Today, the SAcSA Chairman and few executive members had the privilege of meeting with Mr. Heshan Kuruppu, the President of CA Sri Lanka, at the CA Sri Lanka headquarters. We were also joined by the Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Lakmali Priyangika, and other distinguished officers.

This meeting opened doors to significant opportunities for professional development for Sri Lanka Accountant Service officers. We discussed allowing our members special opportunities to sit for CA exams without completing Articles and obtaining exemptions based on other educational qualifications. Additionally, we explored avenues to enhance our members' professional training and knowledge.

We are thrilled to announce that the President and other members have committed to support our endeavors to enhance the capabilities of public sector accountants. A special thank you to Ms. Dilrukshi, Director of the Public Enterprise Department, a council member of CA Sri Lanka, and a proud member of SAcSA, for coordinating this incredible opportunity.

To our members who had to pause their Chartered Accountancy exams due to lack of practical training: dust off your learning materials and get ready! You will soon have the opportunity to continue your exams.
